A haven of peace in the heart of nature...

LE PRIEURE DE LOUPS

Welcome to ‘Le Prieuré de Loups’ – ‘The Priory of Wolves’, a picturesque historical 17th century house in the heart of the Brenne, only 3 hours from Paris.

Built on the edge of one of the thousand lakes which characterise our beautiful region, the Prieuré welcomes you into this remarkable and tranquil environment, renowned for its walking and relaxation.

A REFINED AND WELCOLING HOME

Entirely renovated in 2012, the house comprises spacious reception rooms and five master bedrooms with en-suite bathrooms, allowing Le Prieuré to accommodate up to eleven guests. Enjoy the best hours of the day on our two terraces, one bathed in sunlight, the other secluded in shade. A pétanque strip is at your disposition, as well as mountain bikes for trips around the Brenne nature reserve.

IN THE HEART OF THE BRENNE NATURE RESERVE

The Brenne, an avian paradise, is a migration and nesting ground that will seduce both ornothologists and nature lovers alike. The numerous footpaths that cross the reserve give you the opportunity to stroll the length of these magnificent lakes, observe the unique fauna and flora, and perhaps chance upon some larger animals (deer, wild boar, stag...).

Equally the Prieuré offers numerous other possibilities in terms of activities, in particular due to its proximity to the castles of the Loire and historical monuments, such as the Château d’Azay-le-Ferron, the Gallo-Roman archaeological sites of Argentomagus, or the Château de Valençay, the residence of Talleyrand.

Enjoy a relaxing break, a weekend immersed in nature, or a holiday filled with sport or a time of cultural discovery...
